Who can turn in guns at this event?
Only residents from New Jersey are eligible for this program.
How will I be paid for my gun(s)?
You will receive cash (no checks, no gift cards, no vouchers.) CASH!
How much is my gun worth?
NJ residents will be paid $100 for turning in a rifle or shotgun, $120 for a handgun or revolver, and $200 for an assault weapon.
How many weapons can I cash in?
A maximum of 3 weapons per residents for this event.
What is the most money I can get?
The maximum payout would be $600 for 3 operable assault weapons.
How do I transport my guns to this event?
Per NJ Statute 2C:39-6g “All weapons being transported shall be carried unloaded and contained in a closed and fastened case, gunbox, securely tied package, or locked in a trunk of the automobile in which it is being transported, and in the course of travel shall include only such deviations as are reasonably necessary under the circumstances.”
Is this event safe and secure?
Yes. Local and State Police officers will be monitoring this event as well as processing and securing all of the weapons.
What does "No Questions Asked" actually mean?
It literally means that you will receive cash for up to three (3) weapons without providing identification, explaining where the weapons came from, whey you have it or whether it is registered or not.
Can I also turn in ammunition at this event?
No. Ammunition will not be accepted at this event. Guns must be unloaded prior to attending this event.
