Due to the impending major snowstorm forecast to affect our area on Tuesday, March 14, 2017, the Belleville Police Department has declared a snow emergency for Belleville. As such, by order of the BPD all vehicles must be removed from Township emergency routes (listed below) by 12:01 AM Tuesday, March 14, 2017. Vehicles remaining on these emergency routes after this designated time will be subject to ticketing and towing.

Residents are asked wherever possible to clear snow from nearby fire hydrants to assist the Belleville Fire Department. Please note that it is unlawful to throw shoveled snow into the street and can result in a possible summons.
If you need to use a generator, please use it safely in a well-ventilated outdoor location.
We are encouraging all residents to remain indoors, and avoid driving unless absolutely necessary during this snowstorm. If you should need any emergency help with heating/shelter, please call the Belleville Police Department at 973-450-3333 for assistance.
Please check on your elderly and disabled neighbors. And please bring all pets indoors during this snowstorm.
